Pickled Fennel & a Christmas Tree!!

Made some pickled fennel using the recipe from a few posts back (I think!)

Have not tasted it yet tho..

Meanwhile, a Christmas tree...

Pickled Fennel Recipe

Pickled Fennel

Makes about 2 cups

1 to 2 fennel bulbs, stalks removed
1 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons sugar
2 cloves garlic, smashed
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds
2 tablespoons orange zest
